ONEONTA - Robin Malewski, 49, passed away peacefully Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born October 11, 1961 in Tarrytown, the daughter of Robert and Jean (Aversano) Cika.

Robin graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City with a degree in Interior Design.

She worked at Edward Barnes Architect and with her father at Silverman and Cika Architect, both in New York City.

Robin married Anthony Malewski on August 21, 1992.

She was a beautiful artist. She loved to sing, listen to classical music, and last but not least shopping. She enjoyed going to the Mt. View Social Club and visiting with her friends.

She is survived by her husband, Anthony Malewski of Oneonta; her son, Anthony Cika and her daughter, Amanda Malewski, both of Oneonta; her mother, Jean Cika of Englewood, FL; her brothers and sisters, Leam Cika, Paige Allen, Sandra Chappalle, and Robert Cika; and many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be Wednesday, March 30, 2011 5 to 7 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. at the Lewis, Hurley & Pietrobono Funeral Home, Oneonta.
