Worcester – Roger A. Baker, 65, passed away on April 3, 2022, at home peacefully surrounded by his loved ones.

He was born on November 17, 1956, in Cobleskill, the son of Harvey and Edna (Schambers) Baker.

Roger was a graduate of Worcester Central School and worked for the town of Worcester for many years of his life, and then at Worcester Central School as a custodian and bus driver.   He enjoyed splitting wood, trapping, hunting, and fishing.  Roger was often found helping others in any way he could, never expecting anything in return.  His heart was full of goodness for both people and animals alike.

He was a former member of the East Worcester Fire Department, and the Stewart's coffee club, where he bought his daily scratch offs.

He is survived by mother, Edna Baker; his life partner, Linda Fiorentino; children, Roger and Caitlyn Baker, Becky Pimentel, Heather and Tara Fiorentino; grandchildren, Kyla and Kennady Baker and Solana and Rhianna Pimentel; brothers, David and Jean Baker, Jim and Lori Baker, Mike and Laurie Baker, and Tim Baker; many nieces, nephews, dear friends who were so special to him, and his beloved pets.

He was predeceased by his father, Harvey Baker.

A celebration of life will be July 16, 2022 from 1 to 5 p.m. at the East Worcester Fire House, 70 Main Street, East Worcester, NY.
