Oneonta – Rolana Starr Hobb, 73, passed away December 17, 2020 at A.O. Fox Hospital in Oneonta.

Starr was a Professor at SUNY Oneonta, who found great enjoyment from reading.

She was predeceased by her husband, Phillip Hobb; her daughters, Kendra Monique Baker and Wendy Michelle Vienneau (Hobb)and her parents, Rolain & Phyllis (Kelley) Posey.

She is survived by her children, Michael Adam Hobb (Alisa), and Kimberly Michelle Lucas; her grandchildren, Kris Alan Ward, Jr., Matthew Shane Ward and Jerek Brian Hobb.

Starr was very active in soliciting meals for the Habitat for Humanity workers and for the first meal for the family living in their new home.   The family would be very pleased to remember to wear your mask, and to send donations to the local Habitat for Humanity, 403 B Chestnut St., Oneonta, NY 13820

Private services will be held at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
