Schenevus – Ronald C. Kinch, 88, passed away August 26, 2023 at Cooperstown Center.

He was born July 15, 1935 in Cooperstown, the son of Everett and Marion (Roseboom) Kinch.

Ron graduated from Andrew S. Draper School in Schenevus and SUNY Cobleskill.

He served with the United States Army in Germany from 1954-1956.

Ron married Helen Shalor in 1962 in Worcester.

He was employed with NYSEG from 1963 to his retirement in 1994.

Ron was a member of the Schenevus-Maryland Emergency Squad and the C.H. Graham Hose Co. Schenevus.

He is survived by his wife, Helen Kinch; his daughters, Cherie (Tim) Powers, Connie Kinch, and Christie (Ken) Dickinson; grandchildren, Leita, Riley, Nathan, and Maya Powers, James and Ian Dickinson; his sister, Cindy Palmer, and several nieces and nephews

He was predeceased by his parents, and his twin brother, Robert.

Private services will be held.
