WORCESTER – Ronald T. Lane, 48, passed away suddenly Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at A.O. Fox Memorial Hospital in Oneonta.
He was born July 6, 1961 in Cold Springs, the son of Robert Lane and Annabelle (Travis) Lane.
Ronnie was employed with Latham Homes in Oneonta for 25 years.
Ronnie was an avid JETS fan. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing cards with his family and friends, and the companionship of his beloved dog.
He is survived by his sister, Jacqueline Pullicino of Torrington, CT; a brother, Dennis Travis of Worcester; a sister, Lynn and David Chase of Worcester and a brother, John McCruden of Worcester; niece, Clorece Penny, nephews, Robert Penny and Vincent Pullicino, and special nieces, Dominique and Gabriele Travis; grand nieces & grand nephew, Lexi Cyr-Marc, "Bubby" Sullivan, Hannah and Madelyn Penny; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was predeceased by his father, Robert Lane, his mother, Annabelle McCruden and a nephew, Mark Penny.
Calling hours will be Sunday, May 23, 2010 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the E.J. Skinner Co. Funeral Chapel, Worcester.
The Funeral Service will be Monday, May 24, 2010 at 2 p.m. at the funeral chapel, with the Rev. Judith Thistle, chaplain at A.O. Fox Memorial Hospital in Oneonta, officiating.
The interment will follow at the Maple Grove Cemetery in Worcester.
