Oneonta - Ronald "Ronnie" LeBeck, 52, of 113 Browne St., passed away in his home, after an extended illness, on August 8, 2013. He was born on August 7, 1961 in North Hempstead, NY.

Ronnie loved being around people. He especially enjoyed being outdoors, watching parades and going to carnivals. Ronnie was also fascinated by all things mechanical. He loved tools and gadgets and enjoyed watching things being built. His beautiful smile will be sorely missed.

Ronnie is survived by his beloved guardians, Sharon and Joseph Ryan, and his extended family including his housemates, friends at Oneonta Day Services, and devoted caregivers.

Internment will take place on Wednesday, August 14 at 11:00 am at Schenevus Cemetery, Schenevus, NY.

A celebration of Ronnie's life will be held on Tuesday, August 20 at 12:00 pm at 113 Browne St., Oneonta. All those who were touched by Ronnie's life are invited to share their memories.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Arc Otsego's Arc Angel Fund, PO Box 490, Oneonta NY 13820. The fund supports recreational opportunities and assists individuals with developmental disabilities and their families to move through life's challenging times with dignity.
