Oneonta – Ronald E. Utter, 87, passed away January 1, 2026 at Basset Medical Center, Cooperstown.

He was born on April 15, 1938 in Oneonta, the son of George B. and Leona J. (Elderkin) Utter.

He is survived by his; son, Brian E. Utter (Cindy); daughter, Ronda M. Hart; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren; sisters, Cheryl Lawyer and Doris Hadley; nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his wife, Beatrice Ann Utter and siblings, Bob, Larry and Kathy.

A celebration of life for Ron and Ann will be held in June 2026.
