ONEONTA - Rosanne Johnson, 77, passed away January 28, 2016 at A.O. Fox Nursing Home in Oneonta.

She was born October 4, 1938 in Brooklyn, the daughter of George and Rose (McCarthy) Brickwedde.

Rosanne graduated from Millerton High School. She married Lloyd H. Johnson on November 17, 1956 at St. Mary's Church in Oneonta. Together they worked the family dairy farm. Rosanne had put her college education on hold to raise her family. In 1990, she graduated from SUNY Delhi, Magna Cum Laude.

Rosanne retired from Eastern Travel Oneonta Bus Line. She was a member of the Susquehanna Quilters Club, the North Franklin Women's Club and was a volunteer for Catskill Area Hospice.

She is survived by her husband, of 59 years, Lloyd H. Johnson of Oneonta; children, Judy (Ralph) Martinez of Port St. Lucie, FL, Marianne Herge of Salisbury, NC, Jane (Doug) Kristofik of Vail, AZ, Eric (Bonnie) Johnson of Oneonta, and Pamela (Shawn) Baldwin of Oneonta; grandchildren, Graig, Tara Rose, Wade, Casey, Meghan, Alyson, Hannah, Nathan and Seneca Rose; 5 great-grandchildren; her 10 brothers and sisters, George, Robert, Richard, James, Michael, and Thomas, Brickwedde; Regina Conroy, Ellen Brickwedde, Mary Alm, and Kathy Corrigan; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a son, James Lloyd Johnson.

Calling hours will be 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, February 6, 2016 at the Lewis, Hurley & Pietrobono Funeral Home, 51 Dietz St., Oneonta.

Funeral Mass will at 1:00 p.m., Saturday February 6th at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 39 Walnut St., Oneonta, with the Rev. David Wm. Mickiewicz, as celebrant.

Interment will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
