Schenectady - Roscoe Ryder, 95, passed away, Friday, July 9, 2021 at his residence.

He was born on March 5, 1926 in Lutheranville, the son of Roscoe and Daisy (Johns) Ryder.

Roscoe married Elsie Eager on October 29, 1994 in Worcester.  She predeceased him in June of 2012.

He served in the United States Army Air Corps and the United States Air Force from 1944-1953. During World War II he was a tail gunner. Roscoe spent many of his retired years volunteering with various organizations in Worcester.  He was an avid wood crafter in his spare time.

Roscoe is survived by his daughter Deborah Falcone and her husband Albert; his 2 grandsons, Michael (Gabriella) and Joseph (Alexis); his sister, Laura Myers of Massachusetts and several step-children, step grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. to Noon on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at the Heller & Skinner Funeral Home, 155 Main St., Worcester.  Followed by a graveside service with military honors at the Maple Grove Cemetery in Worcester.
