Rosina Cuticone, 81, of Schenevus, New York passed away peacefully into God's graces on January 10th, 2023.

Rosina was the eldest daughter and the second oldest of 8 children. She came from a small town called Scrisera, located just outside of San Salvatore di Fitalia, a province of Messina, Sicily.

Rosina emigrated to New York in the mid sixties with her husband, son, mother, father, siblings, and their families.

While raising her children and managing the household, Rosina helped her husband provide for their family. She worked for years as a cook in a local deli in Seaford, New York. She started as the assistant to the head cook in the deli and quickly rose to become head cook. Rosina was a talented and creative cook who could create a decadent meal just using remnants found in a pantry. Her passion and love for cooking Italian foods put the local deli on the map and became a local favorite.

Rosina loved to spend time with her family. She was amazing and had a heart of gold who made everyone feel special and loved when they were around her.

Rosina is survived by her husband Vincenzo of 61 years, her children Joe, Rose & Julietta, and her two grandchildren Cassandra & Lola.

She will be forever loved and forever remembered.

The Visitation/Wake will be at 5pm to 7pm Thursday, January 19th 2023 and 6pm to 8pm Friday, January 20, 2023 at the Heller & Skinner Funeral Home, 155 Main Street, Worcester, NY

The Funeral Mass will be 11am, Saturday January 21, 2023 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 201 Main Street, Worcester, NY with Father Joseph Arockiasamy, as celebrant.

The committal service and burial will be 1 pm, Friday, May 12, 2023 at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Worcester, NY.
