Obituary

Stamford, NY – Roy Patrick Kenny, 95, passed away January 6, 2019 at Robinson Terrance in Stamford, NY.

He was born June 2, 1923 in Brooklyn, the son of Josephine Kenny and John Cullen.

Roy was United States Army veteran, serving in World War II from 1945-1952, in Infantry One. During his service he was in the military band and played the bugle.  Recently he was honored by Robinson Terrace for his service.

Roy was employed by the laborers Local 754 in Bardonia, NY.  He was a jack of all trades, a one of a kind person.  He also worked at the New City and Stony Point Libraries.

He is survived by his children, Patrick Kenny of Stony Point, NY, Catherine Wyble of Davenport, NY, Margaret Baldwin of Boonsboro, MD, Josephine Wyble of Jefferson, NY, and Eva Goetz of California; grandchildren, Wyatt, Bailey, April, Cheyenne, Robert Roy, Constance Joan, Heather Mack, Crystal, Kelly and Taylor; great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Reagan, Mason, Hailey, Ella and Sophie.

He was predeceased by his wife, Joan Hurley Kenny and a grandson, William Walter Wyble.

Private services will be held at a later date.
