Rudolph A.
Kersman
February 23, 1947 – September 30, 2021
WORCESTER - Rudolph A. Kersman born February 23, 1947 in Brooklyn to Frank and Frances (Habjan) Kersman, passed away peacefully at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany on September 30, 2021.
Rudy graduated from Worcester Central 1965. He then received his associates from SUNY Cobleskill in 1967. Rudy had a lifelong commitment to agriculture, growing up working on the family farm, and then serving as a milk inspector for Worcester Creamery until his life changing motorcycle accident in 1969. He remained involved in the dairy industry helping his brothers in any way he could, and spending much time with his brother Bob on his family farm. Rudy enjoyed watching tractor pulls at county fairs and hoped to someday see the Albino Buck come back to pull! Rudy was very knowledgeable about local farms, tractors/equipment and auctions, and enjoyed sharing with anyone who talk shop with him.
The void he leaves will always be felt and there will never be anyone like him to liven up the family in his own unique way. He joins his mother and father before him, and is survived by his brothers, Fred (Mary), and Robert (Barbara); sister, Rose (Allen) Shulgay; nieces and nephews, Desiree (John), Alex (Heather), Zak (Becky) Fred (Tiffany), Stephanie (Tim) and John; great nephews and nieces, Piper, Caleb, Griffin and soon to arrive Baby Girl Kersman. Special friends who are like family, his little tractor buddy Tyler, Lindsay, Elaine, Kelia, Zakiyah, Adalinna and Peter Conte.
Special thanks to Kate Heisert for providing care during the last few months and the old woman for always bringing him goodies and taking care of him!
