Ruth Miller's Obituary
OONEONTA – Ruth Miller, 90, formerly of Oneonta, passed away Thursday, November 16, 2006 at Valley View Manor Nursing Home in Norwich.
She was born May 31, 1916 in Morris, the daughter of Nelson and Ella Jane (McWilliams) Miller.
Ms. Miller was the Librarian at Hartwick College in Oneonta for many years. She was a member of St. James Episcopal Church in Oneonta.
She enjoyed traveling and in 1949 she flew by herself to Europe for an extensive European tour, met a friend in Paris, France and they returned to the United States by ship.
Calling hours will be held 4 to 6 p.m., Tuesday, November 21, 2006 at the Lewis, Hurley & Pietrobono Funeral Home, Oneonta.
A funeral mass will be 1 p.m., Wednesday, November 22, 2006 at St. James Episcopal Church, Oneonta, with the Reverend Kenneth Hunter, pastor, officiating.
Interment will follow at the Hillington Cemetery in Morris.
