MARYLAND – Sally Ann Craig, 69, passed away Sunday morning, March 13, 2016.

She was the daughter of the late Anthony and Mary (Salerno) DeVito.

She was married to William J. Craig for 48 years. They were married on January 6, 1968.

Sally worked as a high school Spanish teacher at Schenevus Central School. She is fondly remembered as a passionate teacher who not only taught a foreign language, but valuable life lessons as well. She was a positive influence on many young lives. She also worked as a piano accompanist for the chorus where she taught.

After retiring she moved to New Mexico. While she was there she enjoyed quilting and volunteer work. After living in New Mexico Sally and bill moved to Mountain City, TN in order to be closer to family.

Sally is survived by her husband, Bill; her sons, Cory (Jenn) of Westford, NY, Erik (Gina) of Clayton, NC, Adam of Toccoa, GA; grandchildren, Kayla, Brian, Emily, Sarah, Amanda and Morgan; a sister, Marie DiLeo of Port Washington, NY; several nephews, a niece and cousins.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, March 18, at the Heller & Skinner Funeral Home, 155 Main St., Worcester.

The funeral service will be at Noon on Saturday, March 19, at the Schenevus United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Judith A. Thistle, officiating.

Burial will be at the Schenevus Cemetery.
