Obituary

Schenevus – Seth Robert Charles Cooper, 15, on October 4, 2022 our beloved Seth chose to take his life after a long battle with depression. Seth was born November 4, 2006 in Oneonta, the son of John Cooper and Lisa Muehl-Cooper.

Seth was an amazing person with a golden heart.  He was a talented musician, artist and skateboarder.  His love for all animals led him to volunteer at Susquehanna SPCA, and rescued many stray animals.   He deeply loved his family and friends, which he protected fiercely, especially his cousins.

Seth will be remembered for his infectious laugh, warm smile, polite demeanor, non-judgmental attitude and his departing phase, "I love you!"

He is survived by his parents; his half-brother, Tyler Rose and his family; his grandmother, Carol Cooper; uncles, Bob Sutton (Joanie), and Robert Cooper Jr. (Shelly); aunt, Stacey Camilleri (Ernie), cousins, Anabelle and Gabriella Chiaravalle, Sophia and Amelya Camilleri; and many more cousins.

He was predeceased by grandparents, Charles and Carol Muehl and Robert Cooper Sr.; and aunt, Linda Briggs.

A celebration of life will be on Sunday, October 16th from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Schenevus Valley Masonic Lodge, 82 Main St., Schenevus.  A remembrance service will begin at 2 p.m., with Seth's great-aunt Gloria Munson officiating.
