SCHENEVUS – Sharon Snyder, 73, passed away at her home on July 24, 2016.

She was born February 13, 1943 in Oneonta, the daughter of Charles and Wilma (McCulley) Bramsen.

Sharon married Edward Snyder on June 1, 1963 at the Atonement Lutheran Church in Oneonta.

She graduated from Andrew S. Draper School in Schenevus and the Mildred Elly Secretarial School in Albany. She worked for WDOS radio station for 5 years, than ran a day care out of her home for over 35 years.

She was a member of the C.H. Graham Hose Co Auxiliary, the Women's Club, the VFW Auxiliary and made cakes for many different occasions.

She is survived by her sons, Thomas and Christina Snyder of Schenevus, and John Snyder and Jackie Reynolds of Waverly; grandchildren, TJ and Cassie Snyder, Courtney and Whitney Snyder and Justin Pellett; her sisters, Bonnie and James Banner of Schenevus, Patricia and James Russell of Little Meadows, PA and Tina and Michael Keator of Laurens; many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Edward on December 6, 2011; her daughter, Carolyn and a brother, Christen "Sonny" Bramsen.

Calling hours will be held 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 27, at the Heller & Skinner Funeral Home, 155 Main St., Worcester.

The memorial service will be 11 a.m., Thursday, July 28 at the Heller & Skinner Funeral Home, with the Rev. Paul Messner, officiating.

Interment will follow at the Schenevus Cemetery.
