WESTFORD – Stanley George Roseboom Jr., 69, passed away March 6, 2009, peacefully at home with his family by his bedside.

Bud was born February 16, 1940, in Daytona Beach, FL, the son of Stanley and Wanda (Kinnin) Roseboom.

Stanley and Dorothy (Rachon) were married February 14, 1995, at home in Westford, NY.

Bud lived for bringing happiness and joy to his family by sharing everyday experiences with his wife, sons, grandchildren, and friends. An active member of the NRA; camping, fishing, and hunting with friends and family was his passion that he passed along to others.

Bud is survived by his dearly beloved wife Dorothy "Dolly" Rachon of 14 years; father of Mark Allen and Barbara Roseboom, grandsons Trent and Matthew; father of Paul Lincoln and Amy Roseboom, granddaughters Ashley, Briar, and Kendelyn; father of Daniel Robert Roseboom, grandson Damian and granddaughter Aaliyah; stepfather of Erik Daniel and Julie Shaffer, granddaughter Marin; two brothers, Tom and wife Linda and Bill; two sisters, Gloria and husband Jim Mravlja, and Barbara and husband Jim Corkwell; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.


A memorial service, with military honors, will be held at the Heller Funeral Home, 25 Arch St., Schenevus on March 21, 2009 at 11:00am with the Rev. Joseph Bokel officiating. The family will be in attendance to receive guests from 10:00 to 11:00 am.
