Oneonta – Stephen Charles Belden, 78, of Oneonta died Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at A.O. Fox Hospital, Oneonta.

He was born in Cooperstown on June 5, 1944, son of the late Charles and Louise Belden. Stephen lived at the Jefferson IRA since 1991 and was a much loved member of The Arc Otsego Family.

Stephen was predeceased by his parents and beloved brother, Michael Belden.

Stephen is survived by his sister-in-law, Karen Belden of Ballston Lake; his cousin, Jeff Belden, housemates and his loving staff.

The family wishes to express special thanks to the staff of The Arc Otsego for the loving care they provided Stephen.

A graveside service will be 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at the Ouleout Valley Cemetery in Franklin, with the Rev. John Buddle, officiating.
