Steven William Pettinato, 72, passed away at his home on February 1, 2016.
He was born February 10, 1943 in Brooklyn, the son of George and Fay (Scharaldi) Pettinato.
He was a United State Army veteran, serving during the Vietnam War as a military police officer.
He married Michele Rebeaud on August 12, 1982 in New York City.
Steven was an amazing diamond sales person in the Diamond District in Manhattan for over 30 years.
He is survived by his wife, Michele Pettinato; his brother, Benjamin Pettinato; his sister, Angela Calia; nephews, Gregory Calia, Sam Pettinato, and Michael Pettinato; as well as his cats, Un, Deux, Trois.
There will be no calling hours.
A graveside service will be 2 p.m., Friday, February 12, 2016 at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Rd., Schuylerville, NY.
The Lewis, Hurley & Pietrobono Funeral Home, 51 Dietz St., Oneonta, is assisting the family.
