UNADILLA – Stuart S. Mattison, 62, passed away Thursday, June 7, 2012 A.O. Fox Memorial Hospital, Oneonta.
He was born February 14, 1950 in Penn Yan, NY, the son of Choral L. and Phyllis M. (Foote) Mattison.
Stuart graduated from Milford Central School.
He was a United States Air Force veteran serving from 1970 to 1974.
Stuart was employed at Amphenol in Sidney. He was a member of the American Legion and Disable American Veterans.
He is survived by mother, Phyllis F. Mattison of Milford; his brothers, Choral E. Mattison and wife, Marilyn of Milford, Roderick D. Mattison of Milford and Terry B. Mattison and wife, Becky of Oneonta; many beloved nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his father, Choral L. Mattison and a brother, Harry L. Mattison.
A celebration of life and reception will from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, June 16, 2012 at the Milford Center Community Bible Church in the Social the Hall, Route 28, Milford Center.
Donations may be made to the Bassett Medical Center, Dialysis Unit, 1 Atwell Rd., Cooperstown, NY 13326 or to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312.
