Suzanne E. Allen, 69, passed away, Thursday, November 29, 2018 at Bassett Medical Ceneter in Cooperstown.

She was born on June 29, 1949 in Oneonta; the daughter of William and Edith (Bates) Sutton Jr.

Sue married Gary H. Allen on August 12, 1972.

Suzanne loved her grandchildren. She enjoyed crafts and cake decorating.

She is survived by her husband Gary, her two sons, John Allen and Jim Allen and his wife Catherine, her mother Edith Sutton, her grandchildren, Hunter Allen, Carson Allen, Morgan Allen and Laney Allen, her brother Steve Sutton and her many cousins.

Sue was predeceased by her father William, her father-in-law Gerald Allen and mother-in-law Pauline Smith.

For the past few years Sue has struggled with her health. She worked hard to overcome these issues so that she could see her family grow.

A funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at the Heller & Skinner Funeral Home, 155 Main Street in Worcester with the Rev. Donald Yarborough officiating. Calling hours will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the service time at 1:00 p.m.

Burial will be in the Schenevus Cemetery.
