Davenport - Tammy Scholze, 59, passed away December 11, 2022 at Bassett Medical Center in Cooperstown after a battle with cancer since June.

She was born February 17, 1963 in Stamford, the daughter of Theodore L. and Effie Mae (Peterson) Townsend.

She married Darien Scholze on November 17, 1990 in Wisconsin.

Tammy lived in many states. She loved being a waitress and was good at it. She was the life of the party and loved to have fun. She enjoyed camping and being around the children. She would always end a conversation with "have a magical day"

She is survived by her husband Darien Scholze; her children, Vernon and Sarah Johns, Jacob and Stephanie Johns, Samantha and Joshua Clark, Jason Scholze; grandchildren Brianna, Makinzey, Nathaniel, Benjamin, Kaiden, Nicholas, Brantley, Ryker and Zachary; brother,  Richard Townsend; parents-in-law, Dale and Donna Scholze; a special niece, Samantha Sheppard and many other nieces and nephews

She was predeceased by her parents; her brothers, James and Robert Townsend and a granddaughter, Jaya.

A celebration of Tammy's life will be held in the summer in Wisconsin.
