Oneonta – Tanya S. Mattice, 38, passed on to be with the Lord, September 29, 2021, she was at her parents' home with her loving family.

She was born September 6, 1983 in Oneonta, the daughter of Joseph W. and Annette L. (Fancher) Lapine.

Tanya married Richard L. Mattice III nine years ago on October 14 ^th at the Living Water Faith Fellowship Church in Oneonta.

Tanya was hard working, holding many jobs, most notably working at the Clarion Hotel in Oneonta and currently she was a receptionist at A.O. Fox Hospital and at Fox Care Center, for almost 15 years, a job she truly loved.

She was a member of the Living Water Faith Fellowship Church.  Tanya was devoted to her family.  She was a loving mother, a wonderful wife, daughter and sister.  She will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her husband, Ricky Mattice; children, Mia and Maddie Mattice and Jordan Hamilton; parents, Joseph and Annette Lapine; sisters, Amber Brandenburg and Kathleen Lapine; grandmother, Joan Kellner; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was predeceased by her brother, Joe Lapine.

Visitation will be 2 to 4 p.m. with the memorial service starting at 4 p.m. on Friday, October 15, 2021 at the Lewis, Hurley & Pietrobono Funeral Home, 51 Dietz St., Oneonta.  Please wear a face cover.  The Rev. Dan Runcorn will be officiating.
