Theresa June Bailey Decker, 90, passed away Thursday, November 6, 2014 at her residence.

She was born on May 21, 1924 in Schenevus, NY; the daughter of George and Adelaide (Ives) Bailey.

Theresa married Frederick Decker in June of 1945. He predeceased her in 1989.

Theresa moved from Schenevus to Decatur in 1949.

She was a member of the Decatur Methodist Church.

Theresa is survived by her children, George Decker and his wife Linda , Fred (Ted) Decker, Lorraine Decker Koerner and her husband Philip, Bill Decker, David Decker and his wife Cindy and Julie Decker Dawes and her husband Tom; 16 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends.

She was predeceased by her brother Robert Bailey, great-grandson Jeremiah Hill and daughter –in-law Patty Decker.

A special thank-you to the caretakers of the Decatur Cemetery, Ted, David and Eddie Decker for making the cemetery beautiful.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at the E.J. Skinner Co. Funeral Chapel, 155 Main Street in Worcester.

Burial will take place at the Decatur Cemetery at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in loving memory of Theresa to the Worcester Emergency Squad, PO Box 191, Worcester, NY 12197.
