Schenevus – Theresa A. Kelly, 89, passed away Tuesday, August 27, 2019.

She was born June 10, 1930 in Jersey City, NJ, the daughter of Leo and Jean (Miller) Ambrose.

Theresa worked on Wall Street for Janney Montgomery Scott as a stock broker, retiring in 1990.  She and her husband, Joseph, moved to Schenevus in July of 1990.    She felt very lucky to have made many good friends in the community she loved.  She enjoyed the bus trips she took with the Young at Heart.  She loved the flowers in her garden and playing bingo.  She was happy doing her many crafts and was a fanatic about the NY Times crossword puzzles.  Theresa was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and at one time the Altar Rosary Society.  Theresa also learned to drive at the age of 65, after her husband predeceased in 1994.

She is survived by her daughters, Dianne Botti and her spouse, Diane Connell of Fords, NJ, and Jean Krueger and fiancé,  David Staruck of Schenevus; grandchildren, Michael and Jessica Botti, Justin and Christine Krueger, and Elise and Daniel Cain; great-grandchildren, Gabriella Botti, and Jayson and Alexis Krueger; her sister, Frances Howieson; a special cousin, Dorothy Collins and several nieces and nephews.

She was also predeceased by her son-in-law, Kurt A. Krueger, Jr. in 2007.

There will be a recitation of the Rosary at 4:45 p.m. and calling hours will be held 5 to 7 p.m., Friday, August 30, 2019 at the Heller & Skinner Funeral Home, 155 Main St., Worcester .

A funeral mass will be 11 a.m., Saturday, August 31, 2019 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 181 Main St., Worcester .

Interment will follow at Schenevus Cemetery.
