Thomas C. McNutt, 86 of Sebastian, Florida died June 14, 2008 at Dixie Oaks Manor.
Mr. McNutt was born April 9, 1922 in Franklin, the son of Frank C. and Gladys (DeLong) McNutt. He moved to Sebastian, FL 26 years ago from Schenectady.
He retired from General Electric after 32 years. He attended State University College at Oneonta and the GM Institute in Flint, MI. He was a member of Sebastian United Methodist Church, VFW, American Legion, Kingsman Quartet, Turbine Supervisors and the GM Quarter Century Club. He served with the United States Navy during World War II.
Survivors Include his wife of 59 years Doris; 3 daughters, Kitty Kaehler of Brookfield, WI, Nancy Zigler of Watervliet, NY, Catherine Manzie of Fernandina Beach, FL: a son William McNutt of Melbourne Beach, FL; a sister, Velane Bookhout of Maryland, NY; 9 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Services were held at the Sebastian United Methodist Church in Florida.
A graveside service with military honors will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at the Ouleout Valley Cemetery in Franklin, NY, with the Reverend Rose Bellen, pastor at the Westville United Methodist Church, officiating.
