ONEONTA – Tim Becker, 30, passed away Saturday, April 21, 2012 unexpectedly.


He was born August 13, 1981 in Vernon, CT the son of Ronald G. Becker Sr. and Joann (Dreisch) Becker.


Tim married Lorien Bielert on February 29, 2012 in Oneonta, New York.


Everything Tim did he did with his whole heart, whether for himself or someone else. He loved to participate in the sharing of music, laughter and good times. He loved to create things with his hands, such as music, art and love.

After a lifelong struggle with dyslexia, Tim had recently acquired his High School degree online. Tim lived his life with conviction, energy and light; he never gave up. Tim will be remembered with great love.


Tim is survived by his wife, Lorien Bielert of Oneonta, NY; his mother, Joann (Dreisch) Becker of Oneonta, NY; his father, Ronald G. Becker Sr. of Otego, NY; his sister and her husband, Karen and Michael Duval of Topsfield, MA; his brothers and their wives, Ronald and Tressa Becker Jr. of Otego, NY, Daniel Becker and Jessica Carman of Otego, NY and Kevin and Sarah Becker of Ludowici, GA; nieces and nephews, Zachary, Christopher, Ethan, Emma, Nora, Eowyn, Logan, Lakota, Anna and two others on the way. He is also survived by his parents-in-law, Craig Bielert and Connie Anderson of Oneonta, NY; sisters and brothers-in-law, Shiloh and Joe Chickerell of Laurens, NY, Evie Vanderhoof and Andy Estell of Omaha, NE and Troy and Rachael Bielert of Albany, NY; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who were family, and countless others who lives he touched along the way, including all of his brothers in heart and soul.
