Worcester – Timothy D. Gergich, 64, passed away peacefully at St. Peter's Hospital, Albany on February 12, 2026.

He was born October 19, 1961 in Cobleskill, the son of Stanley and Catherine (Mickle) Gergich.

He graduated from Andrew S. Draper Central School, Schenevus. He was a lifelong farmer. After receiving his CDL, he drove trucks and currently was a bus driver for Oneonta Public Transit. He enjoyed gardening and more recently woodworking with his grandsons.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra (Vroman) Gergich, whom he married on April 18, 1981 at the Jefferson Methodist Church; their children, Christine and Larry Roe Jr., Cassandra and Juan Alamo, Gaius Mathew Gergich, Sonja Gergich, Timothy D. Gergich II and Mary Ann; grandchildren, Christopher, Jonathon, Andreya, and Calam; siblings, Pam, Jim and Tammy; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents.

A celebration of life will be held May 23, 2026 11am - 6pm at Borst Field in Schenevus.
