Oneonta – Tyler William Burr, 29, passed away on August 19, 2023, in Oneonta.

He was born January 5, 1994, in Oneonta, the son of Stacia Delberta and Timothy T. Burr.

Tyler graduated from Oneonta High School.

He was a United States Marine veteran, serving from 2012 to 2016.

Tyler was a graphic artist.  He loved all forms of art, especially photography and tattooing. He enjoyed gaming, music, and skateboarding.  He was a free spirit who believed in angels.

He is survived by his mother, Stacia and Todd Heyn; his father, Timothy and Elizabeth Burr; his siblings, Angelina E. Burr, Noah Bradley Heyn and Paul L. VanWarner; his grandparents, Donna Newell-Cooper and Roger Cooper, Joseph Delberta, Betty Burr, Roy and Margaret VanWarner, Kathy and Gary Loucks, and Ray Austin; his aunts and uncles, Joe Delberta Jr., Mary Safford, Scott (Danielle) Burr, Kevin Burr, Brett (Erin) Burr, Theodore (Jessica) Burr, Joe (Danielle) VanWarner, Mike (Lesley) VanWarner, Mary Burr and Jerry Ziarko, and Audi (JR) Austin (Saundra); many cousins and friends.

He was predeceased by his grandfathers, William F. Burr Jr. and Paul Heyn, and uncle, Wm. Dale Burr

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, August 28, 2023, at the Lewis, Hurley & Pietrobono Funeral Home, 51 Dietz St., Oneonta.  The interment will be private.
