HARTWICK – Virginia L. Jaeck, 60, passed away Monday, September 7, 2009 at Bassett Healthcare in Cooperstown.
She was born August 14, 1949 in Amsterdam, the daughter of Charles and Esther (Marsh) Luther.
Virginia married Dietmar W. Jaeck on April 6, 1974 in Oneonta.
She was a member, deacon and organist at the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Hartwick Seminary.
Virginia is survived by her husband of 35 years, Dietmar Jaeck; their children, Gunnar Jaeck, Alana Jaeck and her husband, Robert Gardner and Kristoff Jaeck; her sister, Rea and husband, Larry Bishop and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, September 11, 2009 at the Evangelical Lutheran Church, Hartwick Seminary, with the Rev. Paul Messner, pastor, officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations in loving memory of Virginia may be made to the Evangelical Lutheran Church, Organ Fund, 4636 State Highway 28, Hartwick Seminary, NY 13326
