Virginia A. Marchlowski, 69, passed away Thursday, December 3, 2015 at her residence.

She was born on September 8, 1946 in Queens, NY; the daughter of Fred and Grace (Cunningham) Wilken.

Virginia married Walter Marchlowski on December 4, 1966 in Bohemia, NY.

She was a foster parent for many years and an Infant/Group Family provider for the State of New York.

Virginia is survived by her husband Walter of Worcester; her sons, Joel Heera, Daniel Sundberg and Jimmy Alix; her siblings, fred and Linda Wilken, Jude and Nancy Wilken, Francis Wilken, Gloria and Julius Szentmariay and Sally and Edward Teaney and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by her brothers William, Edward and Louis Wilken and her sister Grace Edvin.

A funeral mass will be held 9:30 a.m. Thursday, December 10, 2015 at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Worcester with the Rev. Ronald Green, MM as celebrant. Burial will follow in the St. Joseph's Cemetery.

Calling hours will be held Wednesday, December 9, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Heller & Skinner Funeral Home, 155 Main Street in Worcester.

Memorial contributions may be made in loving memory of Virginia to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
