WORCESTER-Virginia Ann Peters, 84, passed away, Thursday, February 4, 2010 at Bassett Medical Center in Cooperstown.
She was born February 13, 1925 in Roosevelt, NY, the daughter of Peter George and Anna (Carter) Peters.
Virginia was predeceased by her husband Walter Marchlowska on December 26, 1965.
She was the owner of Kinkel Home for Adults in Middlefield until her retirement in 1993.
She was a former foster mother, family care provider and member of the St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church.
Virginia is survived by a son, Walter Marchlowska and his wife, Virginia of Worcester and her granddaughter, Corrisser Marchlowska of Johnstown.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Patricia Marchlowska on February 2, 2001 and her son, John Marchlowska on December 5, 2001.
Calling hours will be held in Tuesday, February 9, 2010 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the E.J. Skinner Co. Funeral Chapel, Worcester.
The interment will take place at Saint John Nepomucene Cemetery in Bohemia, NY at a later date.
