LAURENS - Virginia J. Scott, 65, went to be with the Lord on March 3, 2017 at A.O. Fox Hospital in Oneonta.


She was born January 4, 1952 in East Meadow, NY, the daughter of Calvin and Louise (Abrams) Figgs.


She married Ernest Scott who predeceased her.



Virginia loved the Lord and Savior.


She is survived by her two children, Catherine and Peter; her grandchildren, Robert, Angelina and Jonathan; her sister, Louise and brothers, Calvin, Joseph and Chip and their families; her adopted family and friends, who she truly and whole heartedly loved. She felt very blessed; as well as her Word of Faith family and friends.
She was predeceased by a grandson, Jacob.


A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, March 18, 2017 at the Word of Faith Church, 6568 State Highway 7, Maryland, NY, with the Rev. Frank MacCracken, Jr., officiating.


The interment for Ernest and Virginia will take place at the Schenevus Cemetery.
