Viva Sperbeck, 95, passed away, Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at the Palantine Nursing Home in Palantine Bridge.

She was born on October 22, 1923 in Worcester, NY; the daughter of Winnie and Adella (Patrick) Utter.

Viva married Millard "Pete" Sperbeck on December 31, 1945 in Richmondville. He predeceased her in 2008.

Viva served in the United States Army WAC from 1945-1946.

Viva was a lifelong area resident and member of the United Methodist Church in Richmondville.

She is survived by her daughter Dolores Falzarano, 2 grandchildren, her sister Alberta Launt and several nieces and nephews.

Viva was predeceased by her daughter Dale M. Ervin and her grandson Robert Ervin.

A graveside service will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at the Maple Grove Cemetery in Worcester with the Rev. Jeffrey Smith officiating.
