DAVENPORT – Ward M. Sperbeck, 79, passed away Thursday, July 2, 2009 at his home.
He was born January 28, 1930 in Summit, the son Orville and Vylonio (Woodbeck) Sperbeck.
He married Katherine May Pitt on May 29, 1947. She predeceased him on October 1, 1997.
Ward worked 30 years at Worcester Creamery and 10 years at Roxbury Milk Plant with full retirement.
He was predeceased by his father, mother and four brothers, Fenimore, Roy, Victor and Freeman.
He is survived by several nieces, nephews, friends and very best friends for years Jim and Connie Beers and children, Hope, Jessica and Jimmy Jr. and a special friend, Raven Brooke Beers.
A graveside service will be 10 a.m., Thursday, July 9, 2009 at the Schenevus Cemetery where he will join his wife, Katherine.
