WORCESTER – Wayne E. Potter, 65, passed away Monday, July 4, 2016 at his home.

He was born November 17, 1950 in Ellenville, the son of Kenneth and Marjorie (Terwilliger) Potter. Wayne grew up in the Napanoch area.

He was a United States Army veteran serving during Vietnam in Germany. He then went into the Army National Guard in Newburgh.

Wayne married Joan Cain on November 15, 1980 at the Episcopal Church of the Holy Spirit in Schenevus.

Wayne enjoyed re-wiring vehicles, tinkering, taking things apart and putting them back together again, making "Wayne Potter" modifications and fabrications and drawing diagrams and blue prints of the things he was going to build; most of all he loved his family.
