LAURENS – WC "Skeeter" Kuhn, 66, passed peacefully surrounded by his loving family and friends on Friday, October 21, 2011 at Bassett Healthcare in Cooperstown.



He was born in Batesville, IN, the son of Walter R. and Margaret C. Kuhn.



WC graduated from Laurens Central High School at which time he enlisted in the United States Navy and served in Vietnam.



WC loved his mother, family, cars, tattoos, piercings and dogs.



WC is survived by his mother, Margaret of Laurens; his son, Walter V. also a graduate of Laurens Central and Hawaii Pacific University, enlisted in the United States Navy and served in the Gulf War and his daughter-in-law, Nancy a graduate of Hawaii Pacific University and enlisted in the United States Navy served in the Gulf War as well, his granddaughter, Allison who all reside in Northern Virginia; his dear friend and companion, Deborah Spataro of Laurens; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.



He was predeceased by his father, Walter R.



A celebration of life will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at the Laurens Village Cemetery, with the Rev. Paul Messner, officiating.
