Wilber "Mickey" G. Russ' Obituary
MARYLAND – Wilber G. Russ "Mickey" passed away on May 8, 2016.
He was born on June 28, 1924 in the town of Maryland where he lived for 91 years.
Mickey was married to Betty Kniskern on October 13, 1945 in Oneonta and they shared 70 wonderful years together. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Eileen (Robert) Adair, Margo Russ, and Rosalie Higgins. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Brian Higgins (Lisa), Karen Mouton, and Anna Louise; and three great-grandchildren, Henri Mouton, Abby and Erin Higgins. He was predeceased by his sister, Anna Scott.
There will be no calling hours.
A graveside service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, May 12, 2016 at the Maryland Cemetery, with the Rev. Kathy Brumbaugh, officiating.
Donations may be made to the Schenevus-Maryland Emergency Squad, PO Box 80, Schenevus, NY 12155.
Arrangements are with the Heller & Skinner Funeral Home, 155 Main St., Worcester.
