OTEGO – Willis E. Crawford, 81, died Monday, January 15, 2007 at Valley View Manor in Norwich.
He was born June 21, 1925 in Laurens, the son of Bruce and Harriett (Dubbin) Crawford.
Willis was a self employed carpenter and enjoyed farming. He was a life long area resident, spending the winters in Florida.
He is survived by his daughter, Colleen and her husband, Thomas Kemp of Deposit; four sons, Jack and his wife, Kathy Crawford of North Norwich, Daryl and his wife, Barbara Crawford of South New Berlin, Barry Crawford of Norwich and David Crawford of Norwich; 14 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Leslie Crawford of Otego, Maurice Crawford of Otego, Frank Crawford of New Berlin; one sister, Florence Yager of Otego; a special friend, Marjorie Barnes; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by 1 brother, Earl Crawford and 1 sister, Alberta Weidmann.
Calling hours will be held at the Lewis, Hurley & Pietrobono Funeral Home in Oneonta on Saturday, January 20, 2007 from 2 to 3 p.m. with the funeral service at 3 p.m. Interment will be at the Oneonta Plains Cemetery.
