Wilma Joyce
Feciskonin
May 8, 1946 – March 3, 2018
Wilma Joyce Feciskonin, 71, passed away peacefully at her home in Charlotteville on Saturday, March 3, 2018 due to complications from breast cancer.
Wilma was born on May 8, 1946 in Lutheranville, the daughter of Willis and Flora (Cohn) Harrington.
She and Thomas Augugliaro were blessed with a daughter, Tammy Augugliaro, in 1964. After losing Thomas, she married and built a life with Julius Feciskonin.
Charlotteville and Summit were home to Wilma for most of her life. She was an incredibly hard worker—always providing for her family. For many years, Wilma was the manager of Johnson Resort in Summit and later worked at Story House, a bookbinding company in Charlotteville. She enjoyed gardening, dancing, writing poetry, and playing cards. Wilma had a special talent for finding treasured antiques at lawn sales and repurposing discarded items. She was energized by people and could strike up a conversation with anyone, always prepared to give wise and heartfelt advice. Above all, Wilma loved spending time with and cooking for family and friends.
Wilma was predeceased by her parents, husband Julius, daughter Tammy, and Tammy's father Thomas.
Survivors include her grandchildren Desiree (Kurt) Josephson and Matthew Rap, and their father Stephan Rap; grandson Vincent Butler and his father Richard Butler; great-grandson Arlo Josephson; siblings Willis (Vicki) Harrington, Jean Clarke, and Paul Harrington; dear friend Charles "Bucky" O'Dell; many nieces and nephews; and her devoted dog Dippy.
Calling hours will be held at Noon on Wednesday, March 14, followed by a memorial service at 1 p.m. at Heller & Skinner Funeral Home, 155 Main Street in Worcester. After the service, there will be a gathering for friends and family at the Charlotteville Fire Station—attendees are asked to bring a dish to share, if possible. Burial will be at the Charlotteville Cemetery in the spring.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
