Schenevus
Zane F. Dodson, 80, passed away Sunday, March 24, 2013 at the St. Johnsville Nursing Home.
He was born on March 6, 1933 in Canajoharie, the son of Floyd and Margaret (Benton) Dodson.
Zane and Marjorie (Stevens) were married for 40 years.
He worked as a dairy farmer at French's Farm in Schenevus.
Zane served in the United States Marine Corps. from 1951-1953 during the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by his wife, Marjorie; 9 children; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; 4 sisters and 2 brothers.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate the life of Zane (Zeke) Dodson, with services at noon Saturday, April 27, 2013, in the Schenevus Cemetery, followed by a gathering at the Schenevus VFW at 1 p.m.
