Frank M. Heller

1936 - 2014

Frank was raised in Germantown, NY, the son of Gaza and Elizabeth Heller.

He is a graduate Germantown Central High School and of the Simmons Institute of Funeral Service, Syracuse, Class of 1963.

He bought the Schenevus funeral home in 1967. Frank and his wife, Sharon, a retired Registered Nurse, have four children, Deborah and her husband, Thomas Makofske of Schenevus; Richard and his wife, Tammy Heller of Murfreesboro, TN, Kathleen and her husband, John Pietrobono of Oneonta and Michael and his wife, Sandra Heller of Murfreesboro, TN. His grandchildren are Victoria Makofske, Amanda Heller, Teryn & Bryce Pietrobono and McKenna Heller.

In 1995 he bought the E.J. Skinner Co. Funeral Chapel in Worcester, where he and daughter, Kathleen are partners.

Frank passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Friday, April 18, 2014 after a short battle with cancer.

Our friend, our dad will be truly missed. We hope to always serve others as he taught us with dignity and respect.

John C. Pietrobono

Owner - Funeral Director

John was raised in Mount Kisco, the son of Terrance and Belinda Pietrobono.

He is a graduate Fox Lane High School, Bedford, Class of 1989 and of the Simmons Institute of Funeral Service, Syracuse, Class of 1994.

He was been involved with the Heller Funeral Home, Schenevus and the E.J. Skinner Co. Funeral Chapel, in Worcester since 1995.

John and his wife, Kathleen bought the Lewis, Hurley & Pietrobono Funeral Home in Oneonta in 2003. They live in Oneonta with their two sons, Teryn and Bryce.

Kathleen M. Pietrobono

Kathleen was raised in Schenevus, the daughter of Frank and Sharon Heller.

She is a graduate of Schenevus Central School, Class of 1986 and of the Simmons Institute of Funeral Service, Syracuse, Class of 1993.

She was been involved with her family's funeral homes, the Heller Funeral Home, Schenevus and the E.J. Skinner Co., Worcester since 1995.

Kathleen and her husband, John bought the Lewis, Hurley & Pietrobono Funeral Home in Oneonta, in 2003. They live in Oneonta with their two sons, Teryn and Bryce.
